Got my first Google Adsense check

Well I didn’t actually get a check, but got the transfer of funds from google to my bank account. I set up a website recently where it collects user id’s from this iPhone game called Mafia Wars. And every so often there is a google advertisement. I can’t disclose how much I made, but I can say that I am going to be upgrading hosting. You can check out the website i made here. It took me about two days to design and setup. I should be working, but this makes me want to created a portfolio section of this website.

Amazon.co.jp doesn’t send WII’s to USA

I had a great idea. I would go to amazon.co.jp and order a wii, the price didn’t seem to bad and they have a good price for shipping internationally usually. I have ordered a many of things via the Japanese amazon. But aparantly they don’t ship wii’s to America.

This is the very reason why i used dreamhost in the first place (because of there 9 dollar a year web hostign deal). But now that i have been using them for a year i love what they have done, and have no complaints. Except for the fact that they go down at least once a year. Last year was a blackout in Los Angeles and this year it was a multitude of problems. But i forgive them, i have had terrible webhosts in the past. And they do a great job. I recommend them highly. So go get your year of web hosting for nine dollars and free domain name!

Comcastic – Karaoke on Demand

Is there that much of a demand for karaoke that comcast needs to make it an option to have it on demand? I do have to admit that the commercials are funny with Mr. T breaking down the wall of the guy singing in the shower. Mr. T should be knocking him out and saying, why do you need karaoke on demand anyways. Are people doing karaoke in there showers? How many times have you even been to someones house and they had a karaoke machine setup, that people were actually using it!

I know of a few friends, TWO, who have a karaoke machine in there house and both of them are getting really dusty. I remember when they got a karaoke machine, the whole house was excited about it. But no one got the balls enough to use it, so it never got used.

I don’t understand karaoke anyways, I have never seen anyone who just had to do karaoke right then and there. Do people just like to listen to music without words? So they can just input there own words?

Converting a stylesheet to work for Internet Explorer 6 made me come up with this word today.

Asstabards – A combination of the words Ass and Bastards. Meaning, …Ass..those bastards.

Used in a sentance: IE6 is an assbastard. Assbastards i figured it out.

Why is it spelled that way? Well your an Asstabard to ask such a question.

How I Became the Bomb

I don’t know what website where i found out about ‘How I Became the Bomb’, but i am just happy that i have heard of them. The first thing that i am going to do when i get a job is to buy there cd from there website. I had messaged them on myspace about how much i like there music, and they wrote back a very nice letter. They don’t seem to be coming to Los Angeles very soon, but i hope that they have as good a stage presence as there music makes me want to shake my booty. I actually have been going to there myspace page everyday and listening to the track Secret Identity over and over again. Secret Identity is the Hit Track of the summer.

I hope that you like the song, and there other songs. If you live locally to them you can buy it at a cd store. But if your like the rest of us you have to buy it online from there website for a cheap $10. I would recommend that you go ahead and just buy it.

Streaming TV Shows Online

Why is Abc.com the first channel to sream there tv shows online? I would have thought that NBC would be the first network to do this. But aparantly they are going to be the last, now that Myspace.com will be showing Two episodes of “24″ on there website, sponsored by burger king.

I have taken Lost off of my Girlfriends DVR, because i can watch lost online with only three commercials that i don’t mind. Its the greatest thing since sliced bread, watching TV online for free. When will the other networks jump on this bandwagon and do it. I am only saying this because i just saw the trailer for the next dog episode, and i want to watch it online!

Subliminal Projects Myspace

I redesigned the Subliminal Projects myspace site at: http://www.myspace.com/subliminalprojects. I don’t have a before picture, but you can go check out what it looks like now. I am very pleased with the final design, and the gallery is very happy with what it looks like. It will be changing quite a bit, as i got some ideas for what they should be using there myspace site for.

When i first started working on it, they had 63 friends and the design was the normal myspace design. My insparation for this site was Helio’s Myspace. There is a big space over where the network is supposed to be, i havn’t figured out how to get rid of it. I think i am just going to use a div overlay the whole thing. As of today there is 880 friends and over 70 comments, and 900 page views. All of this in over four days. Check it! Click on the above picture to see the whole image of it.
