URB Magazine celebrated its 15 years of existence by throwing a party all over the country. I was lucky enough to be invited to the Los Angeles event at the Avalon. the event featured Moby and Jason Bentley and others were scheduled to appear. We didn’t show up till about when Jason Bentley started to DJ. There wasn’t a lot of people there when i showed up. And there wasn’t a line or anything that i am used to seeing at the Avalon.

I have never seen Moby DJ, and i was happy that i got to see him do it for free. I don’t think that i would have payed money to see him DJ. I would only pay to see a few people DJ, and thats a very small list. I hadn’t been to a rave in years, and this felt just like that. Just with a high class vibe, An older high class vibe.

I wasn’t much feeling for Moby’s DJ skills, but he put on a few good records that would have gotten my booty shaking if i was on X or acid. We stayed up on the top floor and watched everything from above. As we are of the older generation and i don’t like getting bumped to much anymore. Moby played a Mylo cut and i was very happy about that. We left pretty early and we would have left sooner, but i wanted to heard one good Moby cut. So i made the decision after i went to the bathroom and one more record we are leaving, so that was it. Moby is boring, and i wouldn’t go see him DJ again.

According to Rolling Stone, Axl rose has been quoted as saying that Chinese Democracy will be coming out this year. Which i am very excited about, i have been waiting for Guns ‘N Roses to come out with an album since the last one. I have heard a few of the demos that have been circulating, and they sound pretty good. I just can’t wait for Axl to save rock and roll.

Thanks to iTunes Signature Maker, i can now tell people what i listen to. It selects a few of your favorite tracks from itunes. It combines a few snippets of each song and makes one song out of all of it. The song isn’t very good to listen to, but it is fun to listen what i am listening to.

I posted a song by Roxanna Rawson the other day, i liked the song a lot. And hoping that maybe, just maybe there would be people out there who have more songs from her. And low and behold a couple of days later, she leaves a comment on my site. And she says that she has a myspace page with a few more songs on it! become her friend, if i had a myspace account i would. I like her music. And she has some great other songs. That picture ison her myspace page, i bet she has more pictures, but i don’t have an account, so i cant see. So it will have to do.

I got this track from a friend. It took me two weeks to actually listen to the track. One day my friend was like, did you listen to the track? Oh no, and he actually made me listen to the track. I didn’t like it at first listening, but i put it on repeat and it grew on me. I have put this on one mix cd so that means that i like it. I tried google to find anymore tracks by Roxanna Rawson and i couldn’t find anything on her. I tried last.fm, and still nothing. I am looking for more stuff by her, if you can help me out.
