I buy a lot of art, The most I have ever spent on art was about 100 dollars. If I see something that I like I will buy it. It is sort of a terrible impulse that I have. And most art on the internet is sold through paypal, and I know my paypal login and password. So without even having to go get my wallet, type in some Credit Card numbers. I can enter in my login and password and boom, a month later, art is at my doorstep. This happens a lot also, I will receive a package and have no idea what it is.

Anyways, I just came across these kids, Steady Print Co.. They are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is cool, I guess.

I don’t normally like text on my art, or words actually. They have some really good word based art. Two of my favorites are:

You can get both of those prints for only $30 dollars, I think thats a steal. One critique of the site, is that I would like to view all of the posters. I wouldn’t normally click on each poster to see it, but because I would looking for the top one, I had to click through them all. Prices at the top also.

The next thing I did was delete some folders and files that I know aren’t being used. I found an old Gallery2 installation and transfered the albums folder locally. I then deleted the whole folder, it took some hours to do over ftp. After that I created a Gallery category and a gallery page. I did this so I can customize the gallery page, and make it look more like a photo gallery than a blog. I started uploading some of the albums from gallery2 and was looking at how WordPress uses the image and galley features and customizing it using a child theme. I have never done this before, so it took some time to do. I was going to write my own function to grab the first image from a gallery, but apparently Wordpress already made one for me in the 2010 theme! So, I just had to copy and paste, I didn’t fine this until about an hour after I was working on my own. There doesn’t seem to be many websites talking about this, so I am going to change that later today on my tips for wordpress website.

It is finally happening. The day I have been waiting for, for at least two years since I started growing my hair. I am going to be cutting my hair. Don’t be sad, this is going to be a joyous occasion. In honor of Mellissa and Justin, I am going to be donating my hair to the Beautiful Lengths program. Which will turn my hair into a wig, for someone who is going through cancer treatment. I am going to be raising money with st baldricks who donate there money to some of the best cancer research people out there.

I don’t expect to make a million bucks off of this, but it would be great if I did. I am tired of looking like a hippy and guys thinking that I am a girl. I have a special prize also for whoever donates the most money. A jaws wave print, signed by shepard fairey himself.

I am going to actually be cutting my hair on April 3, 2010.
